Transpennine Express should be sorted out and merged with Northern

TPE is in desperate need of being sorted out and mist logically now it needs to be merged with Northern and Rail North Partnership be given a hand in getting it sorted out.

LNER runs itself and lets be honest SE was fine as well it got taken over because of the fact it cooked the books over HS1 and Shapps wanted to play the big man. TPE is in desperate need of being sorted out and mist logically now it needs to be merged with Northern and Rail North Partnership be given a hand in getting it sorted out.

TPE needing sorting I agree with, but wrapping it up into Northern has no logic. The Rail North Partnership is "the team which acts on behalf of Transport for the North and the Department for Transport to manage Northern and TransPennine rail franchises" (my bolding). So the DfT would still have a say... mostly saying "no" to things.
