Transpennine Club 55 ticket information

Ive purchased a Club 55 for this weekend Manchester to Edinburgh, when I applied on line it shown the first train as being 06.20 from Piccadilly, but Ive since found out that there is a 05.00 change at Carstairs that gets me in an hour earlier, trouble is Im not sure if I can use my ticket on that early train, or if the Club 55 ticket is only valid on one train without a change, Ive read through the conditions a few times now, but cant seem to find anything from preventing me from doing this, I know we have many members on here far more knowledgeable than me and ask for clarification, Ive given up trying to contact Transpennine. https://www.tpexpress.co.uk/special-offers/club-55

How are you going to get from Carstairs to Edinburgh?

The connecting service from Carstairs is by ScotRail and thus is excluded by the conditions specifying wholly TPE services.

Club 55 does not have time restrictions on a Saturday or Sunday and you are not limited to the booked train

But noted that it is a TPE only product.

Could the OP perhaps stop short at Carstairs, and then pay the extra single fare for the Scotrail service to Edinburgh (= £8.60)?

Carstairs to Edinburgh with Scotrail would not be valid so extra payment needed.

Break of journey is not specifically excluded so you can start/stop short and break journey
