This livery suits them much better than it does the 185s. Shame they won't have it for very long.

Here's one I got through Euxton on Monday, I do quite like the livery!

The competition as to which one gets vinyled up is on.

Suppose it depends which one loses its pan first, 404 0r 408!

It looks much better on the 350s though.

That's not the livery, it's the units themselves surely? The gangwayed Desiros look more like conventional trains than the ungangwayed ones which look more like trams on steroids!

Have they got any done over Easter other than 401?

Doing 1 per week, like the class 185's.

Over the Easter weekend (Saturday especially) most WCML TPE services are double 350's. So no room for more than one set out of service for the new colours at a time.

The 350 fleet is having other things done at the same time as the re vinyl - the traction motors are being refurbished as they are approaching 1 million miles of running and that is the first landmark for major work to be done on them.

I imagine they'll have got one done today, can't be coincidence that all the new ones were out today. 350's working today were 401, 2, 3, 4 and 9. So that's 5 olds they could have got on with, I'm sure at least one will have been worked on today.
