Hey all,

I was in Paris from 12-14 June and had a question regarding Transilien Paris services. Are there any loco hauled ones left?
They seem to be all in the hands of Emus.

I swear I read somewhere that some of the double deck routes were loco push-pull?

Think the locos are SNCF bb 17000 but unsure.

Thanks

Line N (Montparnasse) and J (St Lazare) continue to be loco-hauled with BB 27000 and some BB 7600 (converted from 7200) on the line N Rambouillet services. Both use the double-deck stock.

Not sure if any BB 17000 are left now - they were on some line J workings, on both RIO single deck and double-deck stock.

BB 67400 on single-deck RIO stock 1 train per day M-F out of Paris Est.

According to French Wikipedia, 7 BB17000s are still allocated to the J from St Lazare (with VB2N double deckers), although no information as to how many are actually scheduled to run. There are no RIBs/RIOs left bar the BB67400 train from Est.

The 17000s only appear if there are no 27300s available.

There are also a small number of TER loco hauled services off Gare de Lyon, fast to Melun, on which the Zone 5 Paris ticketing is valid. It's once every two hours and is in the path of one of the fast EMU services.
