yesterday it was announced that as from September Transdev will be taking over the Leeds Bradford airport tender. Alex has already said it will be run using brand new high tech state of the art buses

I would be interested to see your views on if you think its just a tender and that's it or maybe a precursor to a wider push into the very lucrative Leeds market

They have simply won the tender, as you correctly state, so I’m not sure why that would equate to a sudden urge to “push into the very lucrative Leeds market?”

I don’t think Transdev has that much appetite on moving on First and Arriva in Leeds unless either of them begin a severe retreat on routes in the city.

I don’t know how lucrative it will be with the proposals for the new railway station snapping on its heels in the next 2-3 years.

It will be interesting to see what they put on it.
