Please note - I have permission from the forum staff to post this here.

At TrainSplit we've got some really interesting new projects on the boil, but we need some new people on board to help us to make them a reality. In keeping with our ethos of wanting people who are interested in rail, we're posting here to see if anyone's interested.

This is essentially a programming role and our code is written in C#, so we're looking for people that might have some experience in this. However, we'll happily take people who have some general 'C' experience and don't mind learning the object oriented and managed approach of C#. If you have any experience writing or designing web sites, that would be great as well, but it isn't essential.

Hours are completely flexible. You can work as much or as little as you want, and we'd be keen to tailor any contract to your needs - would you prefer to work as a contractor? Or maybe as a member of staff, full or part-time? Or even on a zero-hours contract so that you could vary your hours (we would never force such a contract on anyone, though). Oh yes, and you'd be working from home apart from occasional meetings across the UK (for which we'd pay your costs - split tickets, of course!).

This could be a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of online ticketing, and it's not one that will come around often, so please take some time to think about whether it might be suitable for you.

If you're interested, let me know and I'll arrange to meet with you for a chat about it.
