Trainsplit email re 'Cancellation'

Hi all
I have had a strange email from trainsplit saying my 9.14 am train from Millom on Sat 27 Dec is cancelled. However the 9.14 has been 9.25 for some time now. RTT on that day has it as 9.26 so i assume by mistake trainsplit has treated this as a cancellation rather than an amendment? Ive got a bad enough jorney back to London via Sheffield wothout leaving even earlier!

If you take a look at TrainSplit's timetable page for this train (Y25308) which is linked in that email, you'll see that the timetable was edited on 21 November to terminate the train you were booked on at Whitehaven, due to the long-term closure of the line via Corkickle:

From the perspective of the system which sends this automated alerts to passengers (not actually TrainSplit itself -- it is simply a messenger!), your train has been cancelled. It just happens that a replacement service has been added to start from Corkicle through to Lancaster under a separate train identifier (C11315) which closely aligns with the train you originally booked on.

The system isn't (as far as I know?) smart enough to look at all of these trains and tell you that your train has been amended. It simply sees train Y25308 no longer stops at Millon or Lancaster, and sends you a notification that the train has been cancelled so that you can check your alternatives.

I seem to recall it being mentioned to me that it can pick up on these changes as an amendment and it requires a special process or something, but I'm not entirely sure.
