A just stands for Airline style seat. Simple as thatI always thought the A was for backwards facing, and F for forwards facing (obviously only applies on 4-seat bays or tables). That's how it seems to work on TfW anyway.

I've only ever seen facing seats with the same number marked as F and B, with A historically denoting airline. It's possible that ATW decided to do it differently, but if they did they are very much the exceptionNot on TfW. Table seats have the same numbers on both sides, forward facing suffixed F and backwards A. Or at least it was always like that when ATW.

You're correct, I think @trainophile may have made a typo. F = forward, B = back, A (or no suffix) = airline or the train is wholly individually numbered.
