Well, of course in practice they can, so presumably you are saying that Trainline are allowed to override RCS data, but other retailers aren't?Other retailers won't be able to if the RCS data doesn't allow it.
I am saying that Trainline do not use RCS, which other retailers are required to do. I am confident that representatives of other retailers will confirm that to be the case.so presumably you are saying that Trainline are allowed to override RCS data, but other retailers aren't?
They don't use RCS, and unlike all other retailers their accrediting body is Trainline.Given previous evidence of Trainline issuing tickets in e-ticket format where other retailers don't, it would suggest that they aren't using RCS data at all.
Presumably they have an agreement with RDG allowing this to happen whilst still being an accredited retailer.
The agreement exists. Whether it has an end date or any other termination option I don't know.It is to be hoped that said agreement, if it exists, also has a finite end date or at least a notice period allowing RDG to withdraw it and require Trainline to start using RCS data.
It has and apparently not too far off. They don't use RCS, and unlike all other retailers their accrediting body is Trainline.
