Usually delayed by the stopper running late between Birmingham & Wolves.
That in turn has been delayed by the Bournemouth - Manchester ahead of it.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
My nominations are:
1703 Euston to New Street, always seems to catch up the 1657/1700 departures about MKC and then loses the usual two minutes approaching Rugby (timing error apparently common to all xx03s from Euston). Three minutes late at Proof House clashes with 1830 departure so it waits outside. Last trip on this one was 9 late arrival.
1715 Marylebone to Kidderminster. Timed through the middle of a terminator crossing to turnback siding at Gerrards Cross then usually gets delayed by the XC Bournemouth-Manchester from Aynho to LMS. Not clear to me why NRIL gives preference to an XC service over the LH Chiltern service. The Chiltern service has mainly 60 second stops that are completely inadequate (needs 120 second stops on a busy service, particularly after the guard has checked the platform hasn't moved) so it then gradually goes from 5 late at LMS to 10 late at Stourbridge. The last time I checked on RecentTrainTimes it had a 96% failure rate to arrive Right Time from the "Right Time TOC".
