It used to be the Victoria to London Bridge service but that no longer runs, maybe the Clapham to Wandsworth Road LOROL service affords some views now.

I was able to get a glimpse from that section of the Overground, and indeed the parliamentary services to/from Battersea Park or over the Latchmere Curves would be just as good.

Not knowing the area very well are there any timetabled trains that cover the route and if so what are they, starting / destination that i could look up on Realtime Trains.

There are a number of services during rush hour that are booked to go via Stewarts Lane Junction, passing next to the depot. Not sure how much you will be able to see at ground level.
