Hello everyone,

Just introduce myself, I'm from Winnipeg, Canada. (Where the name Winnie the Pooh comes from ).

I've been living in Tokyo for 10 years and have loved the train culture here.

I've started taking some videos of trains and train riding, which I'd like to share with people.

This first video is of the Yamanote Line, the main circle line in downtown Tokyo:

This second video is of the Yurikamome Line, an automated guideway transit with wheels (often mistaken for a monorail), that travels around the Tokyo waterfront around Tokyo Bay.

If you enjoy it, please consider subscribing!

If people are interested, I'd like to take some requests to take more train videos around town.

Thank you!

Spydarman, welcome aboard! Please step lively and stand clear of the closing doors as they say in my part of the world.

Nice video and I like the clear audio and ability to hear the station "signature" departure melodies. Just curious if you mentioned to the train driver (engineer) that you would be filming for an entire circuit?

I've been waiting for tourists to be allowed back into Japan since COVID so that I can make return trips to Japan to ride several low ridership lines that could be in danger of closing.

One suggestion for a future engineer's view would be the Haneda Express service (limited express) Tokyo Monorail to Haneda Airport.

Another suggestion is for the Yamaman Yukarigaoka Line-- a line I've been meaning to ride.

Hi Shinkansenfan!

I like your name! How often have you been to Japan?

Thanks for taking look! Much appreciated!

I didn't actually ask the engineer for permission, but there is a gigantic window in the new Yamanote train cars that allow people to obtain this view, so I was hoping it was ok ;)

I will definitely try to take your suggestions for other videos. I have some free time coming up during the Christmas holiday to make some more recordings.

I've never heard of the Yamaman Yukarigaoka Line! I'll check it out! :D

Happy New Year everyone! All the best to everyone in this group for 2022!

SHINKANSENFAN: This video is one of your requests! I also made another video (reverse: traveling from the airport to Hamamatsucho) which I can post at a future time. I was able to get a really cool shot of the track switching mechanism in that video!

Here is the latest video I've made riding the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line. The entire line services 11 stations from Hamamatsucho (downtown Tokyo) to Haneda Airport.

It takes about 30 minutes to travel from the track's beginning to the end of the line. The 3 rolling stock types on this line are Hitachi Rail's 1000 series, 2000 series, and 10000 series.

This is an ASMR-style cab view, so please enjoy the HD quality sights and sounds of this trainline with an over-the-shoulder perspective.

If you enjoy this type of train content from Tokyo, please let me know and consider subscribing!

こんにちは!Hello again, everyone!

Here is a new ASMR train video I recorded of the Tokyu Ikegami Line in Tokyo.

The Tokyu Ikegami Line is a railway line that runs from Gotanda Station to Kamata Station in Tokyo. There are currently 15 stations on the train line and it takes about 30 minutes to travel from the track's beginning to the end of the line. The 2 rolling stock types on this line are the 1000 series EMU and 7000 series EMU. This video showcases a cabin-view as the train travels from Gotanda Station to the final stop at Kamata Station.

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing fine these days.

Being busy at work has limited my ability to record train videos, but I managed to film this one of the Tokyu Oimachi Line in Tokyo.

The Tokyu Oimachi Line is a 12.4 kilometer railway line that runs from Oimachi Station (Tokyo) to Mizonokuchi Station in Kawasaki, Kanagawa.. There are currently 16 stations on the train line (also includes stops at Futako-shinchi & Takatsu on the Den-en-Toshi Line) and it takes about 30 minutes to travel from the track's beginning to the end of the line. The 2 rolling stock types (local services) on this line are the 5-car 9000 series EMU and 9020 series EMU. The 2 rolling stock types (express services) on this line are the 6000 and 6020 (7-car) EMU. This video showcases a cabin-view as the train travels from Oimachi Station to the final stop at Mizonokuchi Station.

If you haven't already, I hope you can subcribe to the channel for more train videos in the future!

ありがとう!Thank you!
