Evening All,

The latest video on my YouTube channel includes shots of HSTs at Marazion in 1989. There's also a ride on the St. Ives branch line filmed through the front of a heritage DMU. Here's the link if anyone would like to see it:

Hope it's of interest.

Morning All,

I'm still putting my enforced lockdown time to good use by putting some of my old VHS footage on YouTube. My latest offering is of trains in Cornwall in 1989 and I hope you like it.

Afternoon All,

The third instalment of the video that I took in Cornwall in 1989 is now on YouTube if anyone would like to have a look. I hope that it's of interest:

Lovely. The Railfreight 47 on the sleepers at the end is quite intriguing. Do you know which one it was? I can’t make it out on my small phone screen.
Also interesting to see the two GUVs tacked onto the rear of the NSE mk1 set.

Sorry no; the old VHS tapes aren't clear enough to read the number. I'm not sure, but the GUVs at the rear might be Motorail car carrying vans.

I’d be surprised if they were but I suppose they could be. I wondered if they were being sent to Penzance to strengthen a parcels service?
Thanks for posting these videos Ron, they bought back some great memories.

Someone else commented on an earlier video which included two GUVs on the back of a train that they were Motorail car carrying vans. There was a Western Region Motorail to Cornwall at one time, so it is possible.
