Just wondering what this stock is doing at Wembley today:

a 67 in Royal train livery
One Caledonian Sleeper coach
No Pretendolino, where is it today?
A pair of 66s
Class 67 Keith was in front of a rake of Mk IIIs and one MkII this morning
An EWS Liveried 90
I left Euston at 12:46 on the LM to BHM, when we passed Wembley we overtook a 90 heading in the same direction working for FL, which 90 was this? (Old livery) (90016 I think)

67018 was taking the Cargo D rake back ECS to Barrow Hill that did rail-blue's Watford-Edinburgh tour with 86101 yesterday.

Thats what the 67 and Rail Blue stock was. I passed it heading North whilst i was heading back down to Euston from Watford, having been on the aforementioned tour! Stock must have left Wembley just before 10am.

Must say, Rail Blues stock seems to be in very good nick. Brilliant tour, and 86101 performed brilliantly. Only problems were NR!! Stuck up on Beattock Summit because of a track circuit failure on the way North, then receiving only the best treatment from Rugby box on the way south!
Sat outside Rugby for 15mins (admittedly they did give us too much time to get to Rugby as it is, so just sat there as booked), whilst waiting for an LM service to Northampton and Euston to arrive and leave. Then sat outside Northampton for 15mins (again as booked) until this same LM service had left Northampton. Then to top it all off, sat in Northampton for an extra 5mins to enable the empty stock of Virgins Mk3s to go past us. (no 57 on it yesterday).
Now if we had gone straight into Rugby and Northampton, we would have caused no problem to the LM service between Rugby and Northampton, and would have been about 30mins ahead of the LM service upon departure from Northampton. Talk about playing it safe!!

Ok, so the mystery of Keith has been solved.

As has the no show of WB64.

If the signaller had ran you and you failed before Northampton the signaller cops every single delay minute for making the decision. Run you as booked then it is down to the failure.

No, we had an 86 up front, we werent on the siemens stuff!!!!
Saying that, i did wonder if something was up when we got stopped outside Lockerbie. Even when we got the green, we sat there for about a minute. It sounded like the driver tried to apply power a few times in this period, but each time we never moved an inch. Then when we did get going, we only moved an inch at first, then stopped again. This happened a 2nd time, before we eventually moved off normally. From then on, she performed faultlessly.

Fair point though. Never realised that was the case with attributing delays.
Thats the problem when everything is so fragmented. Everyone arguing after any little thing and always needing someone to blame. At least it now makes sense though. Cheers.

What did happen to WB64? I know it passed us heading south Friday night, but why has nobody seen it at Wembley?

WB64 was tucked away. It has an exam on Saturdays as well.

90 016 is a East Anglia 90, Freightliner operate 90 017 which is in old livery.

90 016 is Freightliner; the NXEA fleet stops at 90 015. DBS have 90 017.

Sorry, got mixed up with the Class 90s, you are correct Peter.
I would stick to Class 92s if I see one. I know they are my favorite Loco Class.
