Today I cycled out from Lichfield TV to Wychnor viaduct to photogrph a test train. Sadly for me, the test train was the other way round to how I'd like, and the sun disappeared on me for two HSTs (which is why you don't see any here, I didn't shoot them).

The one bit of good luck i did have is that there were lots of swans about, and they all managed to feature in the shots i got to day, to varying degrees.

First up the test train, 1Q12 9701 leading 31106

221134 heading the other way (hard to tell) and......Take off!!!

I tried to stop the cab of all the train here for a reflection in the little pool, and this was the only time I succeeded. Luckily, I had those swans swim back too

Cheers for looking

There's so many excellent photos on today. Loving the Voyager over the viaduct!

Cheers for the comments. I've reached a point with my photography now that I've come to realise the importance of one good photo. It used to be tempting to run around the country trying to photograph everything going. Now I just aim for something and ensure I get it. I had to do 15 miles cycling in total to get these shots (not the Tamworth one)
