There is no date for the closure of this well stocked shop in Derby, but it is up for sale with quite a big discount on most stock.

Off the top of my head I can remember.....

15% off Hornby train packs
20 % off Hornby and Bachmann locos
10% off Hornby and Bachmann trucks and wagons
20% off all coaches
35% off Thomas the Tank range
There was loads more offers but they have slipped my mind.

I picked up the Hornby 'The Talisman' train pack for a shade under £85 quid today.

A very well stocked shop and will be sad if and when it goes.

The website does not really do the amount of stock they have justice, but all the same it can be found here... http://trainlines.8m.com/

Someone at my model rail club today was saying its about 30% off Bachmann locos, 35% off Hornby and 15% of Heljins.

Something like that anyway.

Plus they're still fully stocked!

Think I'm gonna go down next week and see what I can get

I may be wrong on the discounts, it was just off the top of my head, but there was some discounts. From what the guy was saying that he expected the Bachmann basic DCC chips in in 3 weeks, and Hornby to be available by September, so read into that what you will.

I think he may be looking for a buyer to buy the business, stock and all, and carry it on in its current roll, rather than sell it off and pack up, but I may be wrong.
