Hi all

I have just done the 1st assessment online and it says I will receive an email for the 2nd assessment if successful, does it take long for them to get back to you if passed? I wasn’t sure as I only completed it at 6pm if I would hear tonight or if it was an automated response.:)

I waited about 50 minutes. I'm pretty sure it's automated but for some reason there is a delay

Ok thanks was that today you got yours? Also do you know if you would get a response either way?
Thanks again

Ok thanks was that today you got yours? Also do you know if you would get a response either way and if you didn’t pass it the first time can it be retaken?
Thanks again

No problem. My second test came through last night but I did it this morning.
They do let you know either way. The online tests come as part of all First applications so I've done them multiple times. I think it's literally a sifting tool.

Done mine last night and received an email this morning saying that i passed the online assessments.

We're pleased to let you know that you have successfully passed your recent online assessment(s).

Whilst we endeavour to progress everyone who passes their online assessment to the next stage of the process, this is not always possible when we are dealing with high volumes of applications. On occasions like this and in the interests of fairness, we will only be able to progress those that fall within the top scoring bracket.

Kind regards,

FirstGroup Resourcing

Any update from anyone regarding whether they will be going to the next stage to the assessment centre? I have passed the online assessment and waiting for the email!

There’s an assessment day or two in early September. First lot of people are booked in.

I've applied on the 18th of August and now it's the 1st of September, did I make it? Because it's been awhile

Last time I waited about a month before getting an assessment invite. I imagine they won't be able to start as many tram drivers at a time as they could have pre-covid, so I think we're in a for a long wait
