I’m still waiting on stage 1 invite :/
Update: I was originally invited for assessment to take place on 26th March but it was cancelled due to lockdown and this morning received new date for assessments on 13th May, looks like things are getting back to normal slowly
Good luck on the day Nevergiveup. Alot of staff are furloughed apparently.
All the best for Wednesday Nevergiveup. Will your assessment be based in Southampton at Overline House?
Failed RAAT unfortunately 20/34 questions weren’t enough in 22min, I guess 25+ might have got me a pass, next time I’ll just skin the time consuming questions I guess
£44KHow much is the wage for Tram Driver guys?
Thanks for let Town me know. Did you pass all the assessments did you? Are they the same tests as Train operator? I’ve never really considered Tram before.£44K
I would've almost doubled my salary had I'd been successful at the interview
Plus I think trams are cool
hope you also get the opportunity
I'm sorry to hear that NGU. The wording on some of those raat questions can be misleading and some others have a lot irrelevant info presumably designed to slow people down.
The good thing about tramlink is that you can reapply as many times as you want. Hopefully we'll both be back there in about six months' time

Hi there I applied for the role as well on 10th feb however I got an email saying due to Covid-19 they have put this vacancy on hold for the time being. So I'm not sure if I passed otherwise I would've got an email to book a day for the assessment. What exams came up and do you have the practise material they sent you if so can you send it.PM me that would be much appreciated. Also how many people were there and was any of the exams was done the computerAnyone else from here attending assessments tomorrow?
Do you remember how many questions you answered out of 34 when you passed your assessment?
thanksI think it was about 24 / 25. I think it was identical, and I mean identical, to the one I'd done before with freightliner. Also I've done a couple of verbal reasoning tests with TFL and NR so had a bit of practice in that sense.
Shareshah. They did RAAT and SCAAT at the assessment with me. They send the practice papers well in advance for you to be ready. Also, it is almost identical to the free sample tests on the OPC website. I probably burned my papers if not binned them!
