Wow, that's like 12k more than Manchester tram drivers who drive a much bigger and more varied network! Wish I lived nearer Croydon now!

Might sound like a lot but remember how expensive it is to live in the London/M25 area compared to Manchester!

Good evening

I have observed this forum from afar and always seen some fantastic help and support from people in regards to applications/interviews etc.
I applied for the trainee tram driver vacancy expecting it to go straight in the bin however I have been offered a telephone interview to my huge surprise.

As Im sure you can imagine I'm a little nervous so does anyone have any idea around types of questions might be asked in relation to the role. On the firstgroup site it does say how to prepare but not the types of questions that will be asked, for obvious reasons. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Have a look at the examples on here for mainline driving - most of them will be relevant. Safety is obviously going to be the number one priority.

I think it's to do with London being more expensive to live in. London bus drivers get around 28k basic as well.

Hello - my partner recently passed a telephone interview for Trams at Croydon/Beddington depot... Was just wondering if anybody could advise on what to expect from the next stages - assessment wise?

Thanks :)
