You do all the tests except CBI/MMI then they send home those that have failed any part then the rest do the interviews. You then wait for an email to tell you if you've passed
How many people (approximately) attended your session?

And did you all make it through to CBI?

If I make it through to the next stage, then I have to admit that the CBI is the part I'm dreading most, even more so than the DMI. At least those are somewhat laid back from what I've heard, and I know a fair bit about Avanti, enough to feel confident to tell them what they might ask of me. However with the CBI, I have a limited idea of what to expect. I'm hoping the questions are at least somewhat similar to the MMI questions you can find here on the forums, but truth be told, this is where I'm expecting to fail the process the most.

I sat the CBI a couple of days ago. It wasn’t as daunting as I expected it to be. The interview was quite relaxed and that was partly down to the interviewer.

I believe if you are able to provide good examples to the questions that are asked and incorporate the skills and attributes for that of a driver into your examples, then it’ll stand you in good stead. The difficult part is not knowing what exactly they are looking for.

I feel it went well but I guess I’ll just have to wait for the results.

Well that is somewhat relieving then seeing as I do have examples of what might be asked. As you said though, it's not knowing what exactly they are looking for. Much like the rest of the assessments so far, it looks like I'll just have to give it my best shot. Out of interest, and of course if I am permitted to ask or you're permitted to answer, how long did you get to fill out the CBI form they give you for written examples? I've heard 25 minutes usually.

Yeah you’re given 25 mins which is plenty of time.

Nice one, mate. I think if it's 5/6 questions then 4/5 minutes each should be good enough as long as I don't drone on and get straight to the point with some but not too many details in my answers. I believe that's what the interview itself is for after all.

It's a competency based interview. We all get asked the same questions and it's to gauge how well suited you are. I'd assume it's stuff like; dealing with emergencies, being alone for long periods of time, dealing with fatigue, unsocial shifts etc. which is probably why it seems daunting.

The driver manager one is more relaxed because it's more to do with the job and company than how well suited experience wise you are.

This is just a guess though from what I've read already

I suppose then it would be ideal to look at possible questions relating to the competencies of the role and where you might have experiences that you might be able to apply in your answers. Ultimately I think the most daunting part is not knowing what to expect and therefore not knowing what answers to prepare. Perhaps that's part of checking your suitability for the role though; such as how quickly you can recall information you haven't utilised for a while or even acting under pressure such as giving an answer to an unexpected question in an interview.

Try here, there's lots of interview help on this forum if you're struggling.

Not saying these WILL be the questions you're asked. But they'll be close I'd assume.

I withdrew from this job as wasn't prepared to jeopardise my previous pass from April this year.

There was 5 when I attended and one failed the grey square test

Definitely look of the draw as just returned home from Crewe - and I live in Watford
Small group - only 4 of us sitting tests today
Unfortunately I had quite a spectacular meltdown on the perception test (street images) so end of the road for me
Passed the others so will go again in 6 months I guess
Best of luck to all those in it and that I met today and on the 16th for Stage 1
Sorry to hear this mate! But at least on the next recruitment drive it’s just the perception test to go, all the others are in the bag :) out of curiosity, is it definitely a second you get with the flashing image? I’ve heard some people say it’s more like 2 seconds and others say it doesn’t even seem like it’s up a second! I feel like this one is definitely going to the hardest out of the 3!

Does anyone know what is the next stage after computer tests and the interview? Will it be interview with managers? Thanks

There's only 1 after that. It's the driver manager interview (and then medical although it's not really a stage but you can fail it)

Thank you. Do you what type of interview is that? Also giving examples of situations or more informal?

Congrats! It’s so weird how they’re working it seeing as people who done the 1st assessment over a week ago still haven’t heard anything… ‍♂️
