LM are doing a round of interviews before the psychometric testing, anyone who passed the application stage will be getting an interview, followed by the two day testing if successful.

LM put their candidates through the interview stage 1st before any assessments, this is standard. Subject to being successful you will then be invited for the assessments in 2 parts.

I also got the call, but was waiting for someone to mention it first. I have already passed the assessments with another TOC. LM stated if successful I would go straight to the medical stage. Fingers crossed hey! :D

I just missed out on LM this year, hopefully they'll advertise again next year. Does anyone have access to or remember the type of questions they had on the application form so I can be fully prepared for when they advertise again?

I think I have them at home but I'm at work at the minute. If I have I'll PM them to you.

On a side note I believe there are 2 interviews. Does anybody know if that's true? And if so what does this one entail?

Apparently there's a final interview after the assessments done by an independent company not LM.

Stage 2 assessment includes the multi modal interview in the afternoon if you pass the morning tests

So has anybody received a call from HR? I've had one and my interview is for just before Christmas. Nobody on here seems to have mentioned it and I can't help but think that I'm not the only one surely?

Yea I've had a call too...

All the best to everyone who's got an interview in the coming weeks :)

Sorry for lurking but I thought I should keep quiet just for my own sanity more than anything.

Not long had my interview. Glad that's all done! Good luck all, hope to see you in the new year at the training centre.

I've had worse. More self induced pressure than anything I suppose, but that is natural considering the importance of the situation. Just got to sit and wait now...

Successful at interview... just the DFFT test to do :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Congratulations. Saw your name on the sign in sheet and recognised it. I had my interview yesterday as well. I've been successful also. I asked how many vacancies there were and he couldn't be specific. Part of me is wondering if they'll just give a job to everybody they deem suitable and not whittle it down to a definite number.

I've just got to do the DFFT test, I can't find any examples on the internet, apart from an explanation on the OPC page. Apparently there are many threads on this forum, yet everything I've found doesn't help.:roll::roll:

Congratulations! Still have to do the DFFT, but it was nice news 2 days before Christmas! It feels a little bit like first (come) suitable pass, first offer... Well I hope so. I've been chasing this dream for 3 years...:lol::lol: Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

I've made it past the interview too :)

I took the tests two years ago (dots, glop & dials one day, reactions & criteria based interview another) and after my interview the other day I asked as to whether I would go straight to medical - the interviewers said they hoped that would be the case but weren't sure, but mentioned they recognised that I had been on the two year waiting list.

If I have to take another test so be it... See you soon Kingy & Villafan!

Can anybody tell me how they are preparing for the OPC tests, or has everybody already passed?

Good luck with your final stage, in the nicest (and sincerest) possible way I hope you get your job up there, one less on the GWR Oxford list ;)
