I think HR are playing, maybe just a paperwork exercise to tick the box saying it has been advertised externally...

This is why I missed their other one.. I'm working afternoons to early evenings and have zero chance to submit my saved profile in time.

not aware of Bournemouth ever taking on external trainees a bit like Weymouth in that regard

I work for SWR. Lots of driver positions will be out within a year if rumours are true. My advice is apply for other positions and become an internal candidate and then apply for the driver position.

They recruited for Bournemouth trainees a few times over the past few years (and Weymouth last year!).

were any of you asked to do online assessment? I applied for Basingstoke and required to do online assessment with SWR, do you guys know if it’s the SJT where you have to pick “most likely/least likely” options or the SJT where you just pick the answer you think is the best?
I need to do my assessment and I’m quite nervous as I failed it last year

You’ve posted the same question in about five threads. To save confusion, one thread would have been easiest.

Yes it is exactly as you have explained it above. SJT based questions, they explain it all to you in the instructions before you start. There isn’t a lot of advice that can be given as only you know how you would deal with certain scenarios and it is whether that is what they are looking for.

Is this for the Bournemouth vacancy? I would suggest simply searching DMI on here in the search bar and you will find exactly what you need!

Ok sorry I'm new to the forum. Will have a look via the search bar, just trying to gather as many tips as possible! : - )

Have you been invited to an assessment centre for the Bournemouth vacancy?

Both these tests are well covered in the material the OPC send you. People tend to struggle more with TRP 2 as the dials can easily catch you out but my suggestion is practice with the material you get sent and it really does help.

Good luck. I haven’t heard anything from them about my application other than passing online tests. When did you get invited? I have already passed the psychometrics already for another FOC so that might be why.
Well they sent me an invite on the 21st of January. Stating that I’ve already passed some test already and need to do a few other ones. So who knows now, hopefully I can do my best and pass these last tests
