Trainee Train Driver - Bedford. Who's starting?

Had my medical the other day and was cleared to start my training in Bedford in January. Who else is on this start date?

Just out of curiosity how long was the recruitment process from application to contract

Well for me I applied 3 years ago and didn't go further than initial sift - this time around about 14 months all in - applied Oct/Nov 13, tests early 14 and called in October this year

Anyone for the Bedford depot received their contract or had references called yet ? Im not sure if one follows the other but I submitted my paperwork a while ago. Perhaps they are doing everyone's at the same time.

Had my medical today with provisional induction date of 21st January providng I pass it.

No not for me. I applied for trainee driver when FCC were advertising in November 2011.

Was informed yesterday that I passed the medical so just waiting for contract in post.

What date do you have for induction? I should be on the one on January 21st but I believe there is also one starting beginning of January on the 7th I think.

I applied at the beginning of December last year. I think applications closed on 6th December 2013. Had contract through which I am returning this weekend. References sent back and I have my induction to start on 7th January. 1 year down and finally in! Cannot wait to start my career. So happy to be getting into this job at 25 years old. Good years ahead.
