Just incase you don't no I believe if you pass to national standard and go for a test for say TPE and fail totally your old result won't count and will be classed as 1 of your fails..... something to think about

When did you get your email to book the 2nd assessment? , got the first assessment passed email but nothing with dates yet.

About 6 pm tonight. Strange time and was just 4 dates all week commencing the 4th.

Hi guys. I received an email last night saying that I had passed all my tests but that as they can't take everyone through and as I had done well I would be held on the reserve list for 12 months. I have also been informed that the 100 odd jobs advertised have been taken down to 38 due to not having the finances available? Anyone know anything else on that.
At my MMI I was told that I had some of the highest scores seen at the assessment centre so was a tad disappointed yesterday but still a bonus that I am being held on the reserve? I know 2 people who have made it into training after being on the reserve .

I dont think your talking about the trainee positions with first group are you?
because as far as im aware there is only 10 positions available anyway.

Hey hopeful2015 it's the new trainee driver posts that have just been advertised in September , passed all the stages.
Spoke to a trainee who started earlier this year with them and he said they have been told that there are only 38 positions available out of the advertised 100 doe to finances.

I would guess that there will be around 150-200 candidates through to the second set of assessments.
We are waiting on news of the requirements for the new franchise but I'd expect that recruitment will continue throughout next year.

That seems like a lot, I thought only about 200 did stage 1 tests? For last years recruitment I think only about 30-40 people made it to stage 2.

When I did it I heard that they gave final interviews to about 50 and selected the final 10 from this.

It's 4 days 9-5 so all day tests. I remember the first test she said week commencing the 4th and 11th they will be doing tests

Assessments are at TPE HQ in Manchester and one day was the Hilton. I did book Tuesday but now changed it to the Monday

Was that for FTPE? Last year it was 3-4 people a day for about two weeks. Everyone did the computer tests in the morning and then if you met the required standard the MMI's were in the afternoon.

There was only one assessor so they could only take a small number of people each day in case everyone passed the computer tests and needed to do the MMI in the afternoon.

Yes FTPE.When I did it everyone did the reaction test and there was Two assessment rooms.The ones who didn't pass went home which was maybe 30% and the remaining candidates went on to do the CBI.There was Three assessors doing the CBI.

Yeah they were the dates I remember. I wouldnt have thought they would have left so long between telling people as it will give some longer to revise.

Nope I still haven't heard anything regarding dates sure it's a combination of Christmas and maybe the floods around York maybe delaying it? If the location is the same as first stage

I got my email too, Newcastle.... Going to be a long journey! So is this going to be assessments aswell as an interview. I thought the interview was done separately but guess not.
