I live within the Southeastern area. I have already had an assessment for Southeastern for position. I have been told by a couple of South Eastern Staff, that they are looking to recruit Trainee Drivers, yet don't appear on the careers website. Does this mean they only recruit from those already workin for Southeastern? I am hoping to get a foot in the door, as I have been trying for 31 years to get in.

Southeastern are slowly changing their website and are in the process of moving to online recruitment. Keep an eye on the website.

Also with the Direct Award for Southeastern STILL under negotiation Driver recruitment may have been slowed down recently.

There have been a few posters on this board recently recruited to Southeastern so it may also be worth sending them a PM.

MTR are planning a depot at Plumstead for Crossrail and I believe (if the rumors are correct) that there is a Freight depot opening at Slade Green.
