As above. Short walk form oxford road and Piccadilly. Short stint at Newton heath and Monk bretton (Leeds) for parts of the course but all will get explained

My application for trainee driver out of Blackpool was submitted on 6th Oct. Still says "application in process". I'm hoping to hear soon. Advert said to start early 2020.

I would imagine that to do with the new style course. Heard it's been binned for the moment but even trainees with us on that apprentice thing have been to monk.

When used properly I think monk bretton is useful tool to play out real life scenarios

The course has changed in the last 3 years since I was there indeed. I’m not sure if I learnt much at Monk to be honest but I’m sure people do!

After the predominantly classroom based training finishes after a few months you'll be out at your home depot for several months doing shifts with an instructor.

I have just had this email.
Thank you for applying for the Blackpool Driver position.

We are getting in touch as we do not foresee any selection days being held in the near future. Therefore, we would like to let you know your application is currently on hold, as we would still want to consider your application for when we begin recruiting again.

We will be in contact in due course as soon as we have a further update for you. We do appreciate your patience throughout this process and your continued interest in the role.

Still says "application in process" on my profile.

Kauto5, 'End Of Process' sadly does mean the application has been unsuccessful. Northern should really send you a standard e-mail that let's you know out of courtesy. I was unsuccessful for a trainee conductor role recently at the paper sift stage and to date I've never had any contact from Northern - the only reason I found out was by regularly checking my applications on the Deutsche Bahn site.
