Nice 1 Nkay. I've got an interview with them next week, what sort of questions did they ask you, if you don't mind me asking,
thanks.

Nkay, what date have they given you if you dont't mind me asking. Looking to transfer my scores over to Thameslink but wondering what sort of dates they are looking at to start training.

Mid November i got mate. I got an internal date as well which is different to those who will be starting externally.

Also, Duffman... I think somebody already answered this above mate. Basically just swat up on the company and think of various different examples of things you have done that might be similar to the skills needed of a train driver. You won't go too far wrong then!

Think of examples of times you've given great customer service, dealt with an emergency and worked in a team.

Best of luck!

Gillingham, was originally down for kings X/Blackfriars so this is even better as I live ten minutes from the station

Hi all, I heard that one has previously lied about their address in order to get through the application stage for this vacancy as they state live within 45-60 mins from the depot, is this true and has it been done?

Out of interest how soon after your MMI did you guys have the medical?

Also before the MMI do they give you some time to look over the examples you gave on the assessment day? I've forgotten a couple of them!

I'm buzzing about this. First time I've had a chance to apply again for TTD position. Got a job offer for SWT back in 2012. Got bad flu in my first week of induction. Missed too much of the course. Too late to catch up. Had to say goodbye before I started. Gutted. But he we go again. Yeah DMI interviewers are interested in your "motivation" and "sensible" demeanour , of which this jobs needs those people. Speak authoritatively. You have to address 300 passengers on a taboo system. Don't be whispering words either !! Good luck. I've applied to Gillingham for the new Class 700's. God they are beautiful !

Dont suppose anyone has found out which routes Gillingham will be doing? And what traction?

Im guessing most of the training will be done with southeastern drivers?

Anyone know where the training is held for gillingham?

I was wondering this also. Although I wont actually worry about that till I pass the MMI!

Me too. Just finished my interview there myself.

No idea how I've done but I gave it my all.
