Tip for the Group bourdon. Try and memorise/recognise the shapes of 4 dots.
What slows down most is the actual attempt to count the dots.
There are only a few actual shapes of the dot variations. They turn around at different angles similar to Tetris.
One looks like a Y when you connect the dots another like a C
One looks like a radiation symbol
The normal 4 side dice face
The spacing between the dots has slight variations but as a whole you should be able to see what I mean.
It’s a technique that works very well for me and just an option for people to look at.
