Also is it 1 or 2 mins per sheet for the dot tests in the exam?
It is 2, but feels like 1 minute.
I thought I did terribly and ended up passing to an ‘enhanced standard’. Practice as much as you can on pen and paper and you should be good.

Dont know about anyone else but the 2 part beeping test is so hard. Having to find certain icons and certain company's in a made up yellow book as well as counting specific beeps is really difficult. Doing that for like 5 minutes is a task and its one of the assessments which is the hardest to prepare for as there is little to help you. After two hours of assessments that is the one I had at the end and it was bloody hard mate! Good luck to ya!
I’m sure when I did it it took more like 2 or 3 minutes. I also found it misleading because they had too many answer boxes and stopped the test before all answers were filled in
Ah yes, once I finished the GBT I was seeing dots everywhere.
I found this quite easy. I think people get confused thinking they have to look for the specific company or profession when in actual fact it’s just the double symbols you have to find and circle.
I too remember something along these lines, as though there was a misprint in how many questions there should be or it was changed. Didn’t cause much problem though.

Once you realise it’s just the symbols you need to find.
All I would say to the OP is,ask if you are not sure.Once he/she has explained everything..

You will be ok, the first test is overwhelming but you will be ok. Don’t overthink it.

Yes, front of classroom is a useful tip.
This is the one test that confirms my belief that having musical training is a useful skill to have as a train driver. Being able to react to different pitches of sound while counting, observing and performing tasks with hands. Could be piano/guitar or train driving!

That's the one I'm thinking I'm gonna fail on! Listened to few examples on youtube and they're played so quick I have no chance!!!!!
Practice practice practice, the more u do this the easier it becomes
Just stay composed and be present in the moment.
The examples on YouTube are a lot faster than in the real test to be honest.
I would focus on memory, looking at traffic images and remembering what you see. E.g pedestrians
