Anybody experienced this in their career?
I think the assessment involves the following:

Group Bourdon Test
This test is designed to determine an individual’s ability to concentrate for a long period of time.

The Safe Concentration and Attention Test (SCAAT)
This exercise assesses an individual’s capacity to maintain concentration on routine tasks.

The rules acquisition and attention test
The RAAT provides assessors with an insight into a Conductor applicant’s capacity to understand the necessary information, rules and procedures relevant to the job and training.

Ticket selling and checking test
This test enables Assessors to identify if a candidate has sufficient decision making skills to sell customers the right tickets and check ticket validity in real time.

Conductor role play exercise
There is no substitute for observing a candidate in a real time customer interaction and the realistic role plays are specifically designed for Conductor applicants to make this process easy, reliable and highly informative.

Anyone have any practice assessments to hand for these exams?
Can't find any anywhere
Thank you folks

Erm for Southern Assessments I had to do a SCAAT test, Maths test (inc tickets) literacy test, some group exercise then a role play :)

There is a Scaat (dots/concentration/shapes) test doing the rounds on the net somewhere.

If it's the same as other FirstGroup TOC's, your list is spot-on. I believe it is down to the personal preference of the assessor whether they offer you the SCAAT or GBT. Although it's worth noting that they have to pay per use of the SCAAT (the Group Bourdon is copyright free).

I know of another FirstGroup TOC that they do a PA test which involves having to 'make up' various Public Address announcements based on certain scenerio's.

A company called The OPC based in Watford author most of the tests, they have some practice RAAT test questions on their website. Search Google for "The OPC Watford".

Hope this helps and good luck!
