Train Ticket Storage

I have lots of train tickets sat on shelves at home. This is annoying all of my family, including myself. What kind of things would be recommended for storing a few hundred train tickets? Space isn't an issue; the issue is keeping them all together!

folders with inserts for business card / credit card sized cards ...

Or an A4-size album like this? It's intended for business cards but should hold train tickets (not sure about foreign ones though!)

Well as you can see in the thread linked in my signature, I collect rail tickets and I keep them in cracker boxes, but if you have hundreds and not thousands, I used boxes what shops put their 10p sweets in. (The newsagent by school were selling the boxes for 5p). For tickets for my travels I put them in an ice cream tub. For the extra special ones I want to keep safe (older ones, commemorative ones etc) I keep them on a binder. I use my old football trading cards binder but you can get them off ebay for about 2 quid.

Just a thought, but why not ask your local manned station if they have, spare, any of the boxes that ticket stock comes in? If it is a small station they may keep a box aside for you when they empty one, you never know if you don't ask. They're not great if you want to display tickets, but are great if you just want to keep them.

Do you happen to know how many tickets each box holds?

Each small tray is 500 tickets, each box holds four trays and if they have any of the transit boxes, they hold 5 boxes.
