To be honest I'd suggest waiting for a Steam sale to get the 2021 version instead - it's worth it for 64-bit support alone.
I think I'm right in saying that if you redeem a TS2018 key in steam, it'll auto update to TS2021. Within steam it's effectively seen as just one game that's been updated since TS2012 (or whenever it first arrived on the platform)
Ah, that's handy! I came straight in at TS2021 so that's news to me.

Plus, with TS2018, you get North Wales Coastal included.
Steam will update it to TS2021, but you’d have to pay again to get the routes included in 2021 i.e. Fife Circle.
