Hi all. I have recently applied for the position of Train Planner with a TOC and have an interview in a few weeks. I've worked with a few different TOC's so far in a few different positions, mostly customer service based but I'm looking for a change.
I've actually previously had an interview for the same role with a different TOC and although I thought the interview went reasonably well, I didn't get offered the position. I have an idea of what questions will be asked and what competencies the TOC is seeking. I've never done planning before but have a basic understanding of how things work and the processes involved and genuinely feel it's a job I would enjoy. It would be good to hear of any tips from people who have done this role before as to exactly what to demonstrate in interview would be handy.
