Train Manager- GWR

Hello All, just after some feeeback from people who are currently or have worked for Great Western Railway.
I see they are advertising for train managers and I was just wondering what’s the work/life balance like? What are GWR like to work for?

Same as most railway jobs early start,late finish,weekend work when it's good it's good but when it hits the fan it hits the fan big time.
Unfortunately some passangers will try and bully you but the majority are ok, if you are a single person its great but expect to miss birthdays,weddings, parties...etc

Ahh ok- the early starts, late finishes wouldn’t bother me. I just don’t want to feel that I’m at work more than I am at home.

The working week is 37 hours, as long as you dont mind either doing earlies or lates, as you will do both in most links, you will be ok. as most weeks you work over the 37 hours you gain extra rest days which you can do overtime on or not.
some weeks will feel like your always at work and some will feel like your hardly there at all.
