I was driving on the A361 near the Banbury M40 roundabout today at 1115 and out of the corner of my eye spotted what looked like a Class 350 being dragged by a DB loco. Was I imagining this or are new 350/3s being delivered? Or was it something else? Was not in a livery and definitely being dragged by a bright red loco. Thanks for your help.

Could it have been a silver Chiltern mk3 rake being hauled by a borrowed class 67 in someone elses livery?

There was a move showing on RTT from Wembley LMD to Brush Loughborough, but it seems to have been reported a bit earlier than the timings in the original post:

That was just a Chiltern 168 unit going for refurbishment (Under its' own power).

I think that this could be the answer: There was a Chiltern mark 3 set heading North in the area at the time stated, working 10:15 London Marylebone to Birmingham Moor Street. Assuming that the locos haven't been swapped since the weekend, it would have been hauled by DB Schenker liveried 67018, with DVT 82302 on the other end.

The 1015 was 67013 the 1045 was 67017

No problem - it was just the only obvious train anywhere near that time, following the OP's assumption he wasn't looking at a normal passenger train.
