Greetings all, about a year ago I passed the selection process for Crossrail(trainee train driver). All the tests and all the interviews and was offered the job and a start date for the course.

But during the long wait after the last interview something happened and for personal reasons I had to turn down the job.

The tests that I passed for crossrail are they valid for a set amount of time? And recognised by other TOC in case of another application?
If so can anyone tell me how long are they valid for?

Thank you!

Assuming you mean the physcometrics if so legally they last 5 years although some toc's only take them upto two years old and some require an enhanced score but I believe mtr are one of those that require enhanced you should be ok

Thank you!

Yes MTR required enhanced score in order to pass.

Are these stored in a national data base? In case of an future application with another TOC do I need to mention that I have passed the psycho-metrics?

Yes to database and I believe most applications will have a section that asks if you have applied for the role before and what stage you got too
