Train Driver Medical

Hi all, new member but as I've recently got through the stage 1 for a driver's position I'm curious about the medical. I've passed the PTS and LUL medical repeatedly over the last couple of decades, but I have some fairly recent mental health issues although I am not on any medication if that helps. Is that likely to be an issue with regard to a driver's medical? I don't want to waste my time or the company's with the recruitment process if that's going to be a red flag that's going to stop the things it's tracks, they haven't asked anything about that so far but I', concerned that it might be an issue going forward.

After recently going through a hell of a medical process for a trainee driver position, my advice would be gather as much supporting evidence to take along with i.e a supporting letter from your GP and any specialist.
Contrary to popular belief, medication isn't a huge problem if its helping a condition (providing it doesn't impact your ability to carry out the job).
Don't make the decision yourself, if it's the job you want, then let the medical pro's decide.

Shouldn't be a problem. Be honest and open though, that's always the way forward. Good luck.
