Train driver assessments

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me or give me a definitive answer please.
I have done the driver assessments/tests twice but both times I passed however, unfortunately I was unsuccessful when it came to interviews as I'm rubbish at interviews.
My question is: train companies only allow you to take this test twice. Does this only count if you fail it or whether you pass or fail?

Any help and definitive answers will be much appreciated.

Which interview was it? If it was the MMI then you can only sit this twice. If it was DMI (depot manager) then you can resit that as many times as you want (subject to being selected for one of course)

1 was for Northern & the other was for first great western so not sure. Both a while ago maybe 6 years or more. That poses another question, is there a time limit on how long they keep

If it helps, the Northern interview was with the depot manager and the psychometric tests were done at the EWS offices in Doncaster. The FGW interview and psychometric tests were done in a hotel in reading by an outside company (nothing to do with FGW)

If it was 6 years ago then I'm fairly sure everything has been reset and you still have 2 lives left. They changed things a short while ago and reset everyone but I can't remember exactly when it was.

Im sure I saw it was 2013 the tests changed so thats good news but they only last 5 years legally and some toc's will only take them upto say two years so if you did them 6 years ago you will almost certainly need to re take everything just check the opc website mate
