Delays on the high speed network after a derailment

In summary: At about 4pm today, the axle of a train became derailed during an empty stock movement in the tunnel between Madrid Chamartín and Puerta de Atocha. Two railway employees were treated for bruises and shock but did not need hospital treatment. AVE services from the east of Spain are being diverted to terminate at Madrid Atocha.
Adif has reported through its X account that it is "an incident during a manoeuvre" and that all High Speed trains between the Chamartín and Jardín Botánico stations are suspended
A train without passengers has derailed on Saturday afternoon in the tunnel that connects the Madrid Chamartín and Madrid Puerta de Atocha stations, according to Renfe. The incident has forced the suspension of the circulation of High Speed trains that connect the capital with the East of Spain in both directions.
