Just applied for train carriage cleaner for ATW. It's 29k a year, how is it so much? Anyone know what a typical shift is as a carriage cleaner or what the shift pattern is like?

No idea about ATW but the carriage cleaners at my TOC do permanent nights. Possibly why the pay is better?

For a salary like that it might include Shunting duties possibly? Either way I wish I was paid that much when I was a train cleaner!
