Train cancellations on Greater Anglia

One thing I do not quite understand

Greater Anglia are testing and running the new trains for the Elizabeth Line...

In that case why do the same trains get cancelled every day?

Greater Anglia do not operate the purple and white trains that will eventually run on Crossrail (also known as the Elizabeth line).

TfL Rail will operate the Elizabeth line nothing to do with Greater Anglia

The tests of the Class 345 trains you see on the Southend Line are for mileage accumulation. Its easier to do there than between Shenfield and Liverpool Street. I think you will find that it is either DB drivers or MTR's own drivers doing these mileage accumulation runs.

Cancellations of late have been due to driver unavailability due to sickness or a lack of volunteers for overtime. The same trains normally get cancelled as they are the "best" trains to cancel with the least overall impact. Definitely nothing to do with the Class 345s for crossrail which have "Tfl Rail" clearly written on the side of them.
