i'n kinda new to this and Ive been looking to find out how trains are distributed between TOC's as in numbers

e.g northern have XX 142's and YY 150's etc etc

is there anywhere apart from wikipedia where i can find this? as wikipedia contradicts itself so i dont wanna use it.
