Are there not as many freight trains into Trafford Park lately. Whenever I look on rtt they’re mostly runs as required.

There have been a few retimings in recent weeks, but there are no less movements overall than there were six months ago;
trains still run to and from Felixstowe (Freightliner and GBRf), Southampton (DB and GBRf) and London Gateway (DB).

Is there any particular train(s) than you feel are 'missing' which used to run?

Thanks for the reply. It must be the timings you mentioned because I usually see them at East Didsbury station .

One usually passes Manchester Piccadilly around 14:15, so East Didsbury 10 mins earlier, however that didn't run yesterday and always used to when I worked in Wilmslow 10-15 years ago.

That's GBRf's 4L18 to Felixstowe - it still runs, but only on a Monday now:

...the rest of the week, the path is used for a new GBRf service from Ditton(4L62),
so the Trafford Park train is revised to depart in the evening instead:
