The de-scoped Traffic Management for Thameslink (+ additional LNE & SE options) has today officially been awarded to Hitachi Rail Europe (HRE).

The 'TM interfaced' solution will overlay Hitachi's Tranista TM system with Siemens conventional WestCad classic VSCS workstations.
Additional options include a full TM integrated solution to re-control the present York & Harrogate IECC control areas + 2 new workstations for the Trans-Pennine route, and optional TM solutions that feature re-control of a number of strategic control areas currently in the TB ASC, Vic ASC, LB ASC areas.
Work on all sub-projects gets underway at the beginning of September.
