Trackman with colour blindness

Are there any track maintenance operatives with a level 3 colour blindness .

Just enquiring to see if other members have the same issue and work in this area

You can definitely hold a PTS with colour blindness, but I'm not sure what you mean by "level 3".
Your PTS card would be endorsed to indicate so and understandably you wouldn't be able to carry out certain activities, like handsignalman, pilotman etc but others when working on the PW in a group will be ok.

I'm just going through the process of joining NWR as a operative for track maintenance. Had to have another check for colour blindness the other week and was told the same as the previous medical. I already hold my sentinel card from a previous employer and have been trained in electrical engineering by the military . Was told by HR they offer may get revoked now after 4 months of waiting .
