Whilst reading about this incident, my condolences go out to this gentlemans family. A loss such as this is hard for anyone to take. It reminds me of something my manager told me when I first joined the railway. He said it was a statistical fact that people on the railway were far more likely to have an accident in the first and last four years of your career. An incident like this will inevitably raise questions and devastate the workforce around him.
