Track Diagrams requested...

Hi all,

Not sure if it's in the right place, but I'm looking for track diagrams of the following lines and not sure where to find them

• Round Oak to Worcester via Stourbridge
• Charing Cross/Cannon Street to New Cross Gate via London Bridge
• Sandwich to Broadstairs/Canterbury
• Ashford International

Have you also tried https://traksy.uk/live I believe the person behind it is a forum member, it covers a lot of the UK although the area around Corby is still a mess

Best I can do on the Round Oak to Worcester. This is taken from a 30 year old Quail Map. I do have later track diagrams but not in a form I can scan easily.
There is now an Up Loop or Head Shunt south of Kidderminster for terminating trains. Stourbridge Junction sidings have been simplified and and are now used for overnight stabling of Chiltern trains which operate the morning trains from Kidderminster to London and evening returns. Stourbridge Town station now has its platform on the other side of the line. The Kingswinford Branch has I believe now gone completely. Track north of Round Oak disused but now being prepared for a new line of the West Midlands Metro from Wednesbury to Brierley Hill, The line from Stourbridge Junction to Brierley Hill will be brought back into passenger use with trains to and from the Birmingham direction reversing at Stourbridge Junction.

What sort of track diagrams? If you don't need geographically accurate maps, Network Rail's Sectional Appendix should cover the entire network. It can be a little tricky finding the area you want, because the track diagrams are not searchable (so ctrl+F doesn't take you directly to what you need; but it will find other information including the route code and sequence (page) number of the diagram you want).

Open Train Times is far more superior for the Corby area but still there are areas that Open Train Times don't cover which Traksy does and vice versa...

If it helps, Railcam's maps cover *all* lines where train describer data is available,
plus a few 'extras' such as the S+C, Highland lines, North Wales, etc.

For some reason they also don't hide freight headcodes or additional passenger headcodes, not sure how though?

For example yesterday when that additional Grand Central service was running from Doncaster to London, on Real Train Times and Open Train Times it was hidden however on Railcam, the true headcode was shown.

I'm behind the headcode 'unscrambling' on Railcam, as I wanted freight headcodes to be shown on
my own (Freightmaster) realtime maps, but as my maps use the Railcam "back end" data processing,
the Railcam diagrams/users benefit too - a win/win situation!

A lot of hard work! (the Railcam/Freightmaster diagrams use exactly the same (obfuscated) data feeds
as everyone else, so I need to manually set up vast numbers of filters and rules each week to try and
'force' headcodes to show correctly - especially time consuming when it comes to STP workings!

I don't catch em all though - I tend to not bother with most light engines for example,
and I only do track machines which run during daylight hours...

If you are aware of any areas where the data exists but traksy doesn't cover let me know! I checked about 4 months ago and every signal was on a map. We even cover a couple of areas like Paignton and Worcester where the data doesn't exist based on the schedule data (although that is incredibly time-consuming to set up and I'm not convinced the results are quite worth it)
