hello. I am a railroad fanatic living in Korea.

While studying mechanics in high school and junior college, I also watch railroad cars.

I am writing this post because I have questions regarding TPWS and AWS signal equipment.

I confirmed on Wikipedia that TPWS signaling equipment was introduced after privatization of British railways.

I asked a question before, but I'm writing because I have additional questions.

1. Questions about TPWS signaling equipment.

I recently confirmed that the Thales railway division was acquired by Hitachi.

I would like to know if the standard TPWS equipment is still in production.

Also, I would like to know whether TPWS signal equipment was exclusively produced by Thales (now Hitachi) before the production of the Makr 4 version.

For reference, we confirmed that the Mark 4 version is being supplied by three companies: Unipart Rail, Hitachi, and Mors Smitt.

Since I am Korean, I wrote it in Korean and translated it into English using Google Translator. Please understand that there may be grammar mistakes.
