Summary
It has finally started to feel like winter is here with two games falling victim to the weather due to waterlogged pitches. The derby game between east and north London was also postponed due to LU driver strikes. All this made it a very difficult start to the new season points-wise.
A number of high-scoring games presented particular challenges and no less than four of them attracted only one correct prediction of results: Bolton being turned over at home by lowly Wednesday, goalless drawn between the toothless tigers and the foxes, promotion hopeful MK Dons getting thumped by Walsall at home, and table-toppers Gillingham losing to a sucker punch from Barnet.
David continued his great form from the end of last season and signalled a strong challenge for the championship this season scoring over 2 points per game and getting ten correct results from 17 matches. atomicdanny tops the Total Points Table after collecting 7 bonus points.
