There was a bout 30 people per day on day 1 then get invited to a second day in which there was only 6 of us. The assessment days were about a month apart but this did have Christmas in the middle.

I passed the assessments but the application canned after a year due to COVID. Assuming nothing has changed then it is a 2 day assessment process providing you pass day 1.

That's great. Do you know which tests were enhanced specifically? Did they use DFFT or VSE?

Same as some of the others have said
Do all you can - I adjusted my hours to go for a morning session with a different TOC and did my manager interview on line during lunch time at work and got into a talent pool So glad I went for it
Don’t turn it down unless you absolutely have to as there are plenty who will make it and move on in the process

Still haven't had any dates through for York. Maybe I'm in another pool.

I'm in the York pool and got dates for assessments in the first week of November. But I've had confirmation from TPE I don't need to attend and I'm just awaiting an interview.

If the process is anything like I went through prior to COVID I'd imagine assessment days (if it is still 2 days) in November then December with interviews after Christmas. But thats just guess work based on what I did last year with TPE. They could be doing it entirely different this time round with different timescales.

Fingers crossed you hear something soon.

I’ve just been told I’ve not made the cut for Manchester. I just submitted the same application that passed the sift for Liverpool in 2020 that was later withdrawn by TPE the week of my assessments. I’m guessing the quality of other applications was better this time. I also had an advanced stage 1 psychometric which I did with EMR this year. I passed the interview with EMR but I was short listed as others had obviously scored higher. So again it’s a no for me, but we keep trying maybe one day it’ll be my day. Good luck to anyone who progresses

Better luck next time gents. Still heard nothing on my application but I feel it's only a matter of time til I get the email you've had. Did you apply for Northern too?

I spoke to northern. They told me that living in Wigan using google maps the best commute time would be 51 minutes so under TPEs 1 hour but over there 45 minute rule. So they said you’ll just be sifted out.

Sorry to hear about those who had rejections. I got an email earlier asking me to pick an assessment date. Anyone else heard any good news?

Ah ok thank you still waiting to hear from York feeling like I’ve been forgotten about as I know some York people are doing it this week. Probably sent me the wrong email knowing my luck

I can only think we maybe fell closer down the order so they're waiting on the first batch to attempt it. My SJT didn't seem consistent but it was still a pass
